MMS7000 Profiler Sensors are highly accurate, easy to setup and built tough for the engineering environment. We offer 2 styles of sensor:
Standard Sensor
Our classic Standard Sensor features a recessed central section with 2 "tires" at the ends of the sensor wheel. This design makes it ideal for general-purpose use on both standard commutators plus conventional slip rings without surface grooves.
The Standard Sensor has been serving industry for over 15 years as part of the original Commtest MMS6000 Profiler and is the industry benchmark for Profiler Sensors.
HG Sensor
Also now available is the new HG ("Helical Groove") Sensor, designed specifically for measuring slip rings that have helical grooves machined into the surface. The HG Sensor design features a fully cylindrical sensor wheel which is able to move across the grooved surface without the potential for it becoming lodged or disrupted by the grooves. The HG Sensor allows greater flexibility when profiling surface irregularities.
Both the Standard and HG sensors are fully compatible with both the original Commtest MMS6000 and the new Profiler Tech MMS7000 instruments.
All new sensors are covered by a 6-month "Return To Base" warranty on parts and workmanship.
